Braving the Cold - St. Patrick's Day Parade
A fair number of the good people of Raleigh, NC came out on March 16, 2014 for the St. Patrick's Day Parade downtown. It was a brisk and windy morning with warmth found only in pockets of light slipping between buildings and finding it's way onto the chilled bodies of those who endured the cold in effort to arrive early for a good seat. My family and I were planted firmly on Fayetteville street in front of the old Briggs Building adjacent to one of my favorite downtown restaurants, The Big Easy. The parade was a lot of fun and I enjoyed capturing all the interesting people and moments that happened throughout the day.
